Jenny's Jitterbugs

Jenny has been dancing since the young age of 5. She trained with Shakespeares Studio Centre and then with Harlequin Stage School. She went on to complete her training at Bird College, a prestigious dance school in London.

Jenny gained her ballet and modern teaching qualifications whilst at college before going on to pursue her lifelong ambition of dancing on the professional stage. After many years of touring around the world with many different dance companies Jenny decided to turn her talents to teaching.

In 2011 she became a mum to Olivia Mae and a new life and career began! When Olivia was 18 months old Jenny tried to find a fun toddler dance group to take her to, something energetic and exciting! There didn't seem to be anything suitable for this age group so it was then that Jitterbugs began to take shape!

'I wanted to teach dance to toddlers and preschool children as music and movement is so important to a child's development'

Jenny has since had another little girl, Florence Grace. Both of her children attend Jitterbugs classes and have made some wonderful friends, and learnt lots of valuable new skills.

Over the last 2 years Jitterbugs has grown rapidly, both classes and parties. Jenny's love for dance and children is clear for all to see.

'Watching the children grow in confidence and ability makes mine the best job in the world'
